About

My name is Sarah Brill! I am a graduate from Webster University with a degree in Game Design and a certificate in Animation.

For the past two years, I have been a freelance artist working on mobile games. Through Graphite Lab, I’ve worked on Bratz and Angel World, creating unique art and animations.

In 2019 I showed off my game Plant Friend at PixelPop, a game convention held annually in St.Louis. I am the sole developer of the game, creating the code, art, animations, music, and even the controller itself from scratch using Unity and Arduino. I enjoy hearing such positive feedback from convention attendees— the number of times I heard players tell my little plant “I love you” was incredible!

During the summer of 2018, I had an internship at Graphite Lab, a local game studio in St. Louis. During my time there, I got the opportunity to work on a variety of projects as an art intern. I created background assets for Hasbro’s Chutes and Ladder’s app. I also animated characters for Cartoon Network’s Craig of the Creek Camp Cardboard. Outside of client projects, I collaborated with my fellow interns to create three original games within the span of three months. As an artist, my role included concept art, character art, and animations, making sprite sheets, creating particle effects, and creating UI assets. Towards the end of my time at Graphite, my fellow interns and I presented our games at PixelPop.

I am currently working as a freelance animator and illustrator, as well as working on my own comic. Check out my resume here!
